A Mirror That Earns Its Wall
Closet doors usually take a wall and give nothing back. This one hands you a full length mirror at the exact place you need one, which is directly in front of the clothes. Two panels, each glazed floor to head height, hung on a bypass track so one always covers the opening while the other stands open.
The mirror is set into a clean painted frame with a narrow reveal, so what you see is glass and a thin line of trim, not a heavy border. From a few feet back the doors read as light rather than as objects, which is precisely why they work in a hallway that would otherwise feel tight.
It is the most practical door in the catalog, and the one people notice least until they live with it.
Design Details
Full Length Mirrored Panels
Glazed nearly the full height of each slab, so you get a dressing mirror without giving up a second wall to one.
Narrow Painted Reveal
The frame is kept deliberately slim. The eye lands on the reflection, not on the woodwork around it.
Hung as a Bypass Pair
Two panels on one track. Half the opening is always accessible and neither door needs swing clearance into the room.
Brightens Tight Spaces
In a narrow hall or a windowless dressing area the mirrored face doubles the light the room already has.
Mirror Glass Needs a Frame That Does Not Move
Mirror is unforgiving. A frame that racks even slightly will stress the glass and distort the reflection, so the panel behind it has to be dead square and it has to stay that way. We build these in Bucks County, Pennsylvania from solid wood, square them on the bench, and back the frame with our lifetime warranty. A warped door is a broken mirror, eventually, and we do not intend to find out.
